A pair of crows nested in the big tree in my back yard this spring.  As it turns out, crows are excellent neighbors when they are nesting. Quiet, discreet and watchful. There was a point where they even kept the squirrels away from my bird feeder.

When I would take the dog out, I'd often see either mom or dad perched nearby, keeping a watch on the nest.
